Bath ExperienceA Poem by SirMangosven
These hot drops sizzle,
As my fingers shrivel. As my hair falls loose And my nails get soft. As the back of my hair dampens And soon becomes soaked. My head falls back, and will soon submerge. I close my eyes and start thinking deeply. Scenarios and visions run around my head, Thoughts poor into my brain like "Wait am I already dead?" I soon raise up and realize this is no longer hot water, It has chilled and it's starting to bother... I drain out the cold and in with the hot, Should I get out out now? Nah, probably not... I hang my arm out And my cat comes about.. He licks water off my fingers with his sandpaper tongue... And he sometimes just lingers, guess it's him having fun? I pull my hand in, my cat decided to leave. He didn't even say thanks for the water gosh that's my pet peeve I grab my soap bar, turn my body into suds, I rinse it off, my water is now clear as mud. I decide to get out, "Man, I've been in here too long". I dry off, Wait a second... Something's wrong. I look at my tub. My shampoo hasn't moved. It's Axe by the way, and it's sitting right there In sorrow I could only stare, and think to myself "Why didn't I wash my hair?" © 2015 SirMangosven |
