From the Mouth of a Child

From the Mouth of a Child

A Poem by Merle Van Dee

Through the mouth of a child
   He challenged us
     The meek and the mild
To throw off our sluggish ways
         Rise to arms
           Against our wasted time
A step in the right direction,
       For all living without correction.
