A Poem by Sir Joseph

The truth simplified

What does one truly own?
But the actions that are gone.

Very profound because literately everything can be taken away from us in an instant. When everything is taken away all we have is what we have done or said. NIce way of putting that idea into words. I am reviewing this for a contest I am going over. Unfortunately this is two lines not one so it doesnt qualify. however i believe if you were to rewrite is this could be one line and have potential.

Thank you for reading :)
Wow, that is a very deep thought!
If "actions speak louder than words" then we need to be shining Gods light through our actions( and words;) ) and take ownership of our past ones whether good or bad.

You're welcome:)
Perhaps, but I'm not sure I agree, only thing I truly own are my thoughts, and sometimes I don't even want ownership of those! Much food for thought here..............
