The Meaningless FightA Poem by Sir Joseph
You fight and fight
With strength and might. You fight and fight With no end in sight. You run headlong Into a battle far gone. Your try to move stone Yet you just break bones. Your muscles are tearing With your heart rearing; Full of self searing. Yet you are blind to fearing. Your foolish rush of thought Is the pain you brought. Freedom have you sought In your own trap are you caught. You try not to be prideful Try to live by the Bible All your faults you are liable Why can't you be idle Idle in your stupidity Idle in your indignity Stop this monotony Forget a lobotomy Use your mind not your might As you fight this fight Open your eyes to His sight So you can walk by the light.
