Where Holes Made Incomplete

Where Holes Made Incomplete

A Poem by Sir Fusting
"

For Schelbi, Happy Birthday!

"
Somewhere in your gaze I find
a little piece of peace of mind.
Somewhere in my heart I sing
for love that's lost and love for me.

Am I so enamored
that I might stammer
and fail to find the words
where they have always been?

Where in my mind was once alone
my dearest Schelbi made her home.
So do you also dream of me
and you and I and us and we?

When I see her I know
and my lungs they explode
so deep in my chest.
It's a quickness of breath
the feel of your flesh
release for the stress
that continues to press
and twist and stretch...

Until the day arrives
when your eyes meet mine
and once more I find
my piece of peace of mind.

To make me whole
where holes made
incomplete.
To make me bold
where meekness
gave defeat
To make me love
when lovings
not for me.
