How sweet the feeling when your body goes numb
You lose all memories
As the pain subsides
while the red flows out slowly taking life away
breathing hard taking the last fresh air
how cool the taste one last time i breath
no-one can save me but me
deep inside i fight not to die
but yet this seems to be a dream
real it comes to me
sight narrows and fades
dreams begin for a lifetime
she is there
forever in my dream world
she finally saw
how i felt after death
how funny such a thing opens the eyes
to the gates of mindful caring thoughts
as she is flooded with memories
good memories that she shared with me
as i lay here lifeless
cold and unloved
one word could have saved me
one chance to try again
but no, she says she is close to god
well god would have forgiven a man for being stupid
and took him back
For i have changed in so many ways
but you will never give me a chance
so you shall never see the man you made me
yes that is right

all those days full of regret
