"Walking Flowers"

"Walking Flowers"

A Poem by Douglas Bujak

Spent all my time smoking all my stuff, and someone said she would come

Stood and staired, Then walked on to start this day

But what i see is blurred and She is still smiling

The walk is long, So we stop to breath awhile

I hear the wind and A flower from her hair blows off and lands on my lap

What a beautiful flower, She shows to me

Through puffs of smoke, in the clouds

Reachs out a hand, And Touched me

Told me there is warmth deep in my heart

We talk, And on and on we walk

baby girl, she is so chill

Just take your time, and Come on

For we dont have much time, But who watchs the time

Not I, She does

ticky tick, watch and listen to the beat of the world

Just watch it go

Just two drags and It doesn't matter to me

Open mind, Open and walking to the land of the free

And love, peace, and happiness run hand in hand

With the spirit of our youth, We stay children at heart

Loving one another, Like mother always said

Walking holding hands, All my brothers and sisters

With flowers in our hair, Singing the song of joy

We found ourselves, Walking through fields of flowers today

Everyone wants to stay, And they may

As we talk, in echos and hillsides

Just walking flowers

The end
