Slips Away

Slips Away

Everything looks so dull and grey
thinking about times like these
Brings me back to May
And how your hair looked in the rain
But the sun has come
Drying everything, burning it all to ash
O' at last it slips away
into the breeze just thoughts in dreams
you know that's where they get lost
Through the clouds
I slip away
So high above the ground
And I feel like i'm still bound
Can you see where i'm going?
I've closed my eyes
 can you guide my feet?
Show me the path that slips away
into the rastafari life
taking in the color with each breath
To open my mind
Why are you just sitting there?
Please take care
sit down and let it all go
For the time is set to slow-motion
everything seems so funny
O' look at that sky
It slips away
slips in and out of color
So,
Why bother?
Waste your time somewhere else
just let me sit
looking to the heavens for guidance
I slip away
Slip away
Into My Empty Library
To Study the days events
Slipping into imagination
I've lost
What?, I dont Understand
Show me
Tell me what it is?
O' please
And You'll slip away
Into my brain
Where you will stay
Till the end of May
Now,We slip away
To Pray
On This Dark Day

The End
