Chapter III- Corruption and War
In America and in every nation of the world, corruption is like the cancer that is slowly killing our nations, piece by piece, slowly but surely. Every now and then, a list of all nations and how much they're corrupt. Not surprisingly, the United States is near the top of that list, many can blame bad economic times, re-elections periods, the many freedoms we have as Americans, some even suggest that many politicians and even military officers NEED to join the growing national club of corruption as a means to carry on what is needed. But in my opinion, all corruption is bad, no corruption should be tolerated in this nation nor any nation in the world. Corruption is the worst thing that we, as a nation and as a people need for the common good. For the people who suggest that corruption is needed to get national interest in the works, I say that you are the same people who are killing this nation and every nation, you are advocating the use of corruption, which I compare to cancer. However, corruption is a hell of a good way to find out who the good politician or military officer, and who is the bad politician or military officer. I think it is time to start using counter corruption to root out the bad to insert the good at election time. Counter- corruption is like counter terrorism, using what they use against them. America it is time to play the game with the bad politicians that they play against you. It is time to step up and stand up against corruption, it is destroying our nation, people by people, state by state, city by city. In addition to that, I must say that not all politicians are bad, unlike popular belief in America and abroad. Just because you have a bad person in a group, doesn't mean that EVERYONE in the group is bad. You can not judge an entire group by the wrong doing of a few within that group. And when we start doing that, we ourselves will end up in the bad portion of the group because we are no better than them. But rather than misjudge an entire group, put that group to the test in November, the month of elections here in the United States. The biggest reason of why we have corruption in this nation, is because many Americans refuse to vote in elections because they think that their vote doesn't count if their candidate doesn't win. That is the reason why we have corrupt people in our government, from the municipal government to the federal government, and even beyond that to the international organizations that currently exist. We have corruption because many Americans refuse to vote, and because of that, you have corruption, because other people are putting them into power. And if you vote, it will be harder for those bad apples to sit in the Capitol Building. By having more people to vote, corruption can possibly start to decline. However keep in mind that corruption have, and always will exist, it is now a part of human civilization, and it's been like that since recorded history. Corruption is one of those things where you can never root out, but suppress it as long as the people want to suppress it. People always like to talk about the politicians who are corrupt, but think, who led those politicians to sit in the government, the people did, the people voted for them. So if you want to get mad about corrupted officials, you must think those who put them in power.
