Compass

Compass

A Poem by IsoRoku

Falling mist

Open seas

Riding into oblivion

Ocean spray

Rocking deck

Unforgiving cold

Have open eyes
and an open mind
you’ll find the truth eventually

don’t fear
when you can’t see

Hold tight

When you’re not ready

Look down
you will always find your compass

The more I can relate to it the more it absence to me. I have read it a few times. great work. but why must we look down to find the compass always there.

This begs for a sense of vision, of courage, strength and most importantly an understanding of the way gravity works; or should work. I ponder for a moment and then decide to drop some change in the cup. A little hot soup does the body good.

I can't see anything to be critical about. Creates very strong imagery and a beautiful flow. A great poem!
