A sinful mind (Living)

I'd never challenge God but its also my belief that a parent accepts and welcomes their child no matter the circumstance. Are we to act a particular way?

Took a moment, to wonder the corridors of my mind
Baffled by the thoughts in these miscellaneous isles
Coming to a realisation that its not an easy task to open up your eyes
because its possible, the suns' rays were installed to distract us from what's right in front of our eyes
That if we want to live forever, we have to consider that we'll never be in charge of our lives.

Is it worth it?
To live your life singing songs in this life and the next?
Can you say you're alive if you are constantly biting your tongue and holding your breath?
To never have a man sinfully gaze in your eyes and have him take you to the alley to play with your breasts?
To never have a woman touch your body, lick your ear and whisper she loves the size of you pecks?
To love according to a book, discovered in ancient times?

My mind tells me, this cannot be living... Not in this world nor the next!

I enjoyed reading this. It gives the reader a chance to reflect on their lifestyle and what is acceptable of really living life to the fullest.. Maybe I misinterpreted but thats how I saw it and I especially love the lines "Coming to a realization that its not an easy task to open up your eyes
