I cleared those drugs

Right out of my system

Just exactly the way I was

Told to do.

 

Except they lied.

Both the doctors

And the drugs

Plus the world at large.

 

I guess I had labored

Under the delusion

That I’d be normal

Without those drugs.

 

What a crock

Of total bullshit

That turned out

To be.
