Hands to hold

Hands to hold

A Poem by Siobhan Welch
"

Just a light and simple dream of the pleasures of winter and love.

"

Ah, to hold your hand

on a moonlit night
as the snow flies about us
like magic.

Ah, to hold your hand
near the warmth of the fire
as the evening meal simmers
and the wine warms our souls.

Ah, to hold your hand
in the candles’ warm glow
as the day gently closes
on the wonders of life.

Ah, to hold your hand
as you drift into slumber
with the promise of another days’
hands yet to hold.

A beautiful poem, a pleasure to read. Oh and I have visited the gate way to hell (Fresno Calif)

I may not be able to hold your hand but I can hold the beauty of your words in my heart.

Thank you for sharing this lovely poem.
