Wind

The wind is my only companion,

It is always there, even if just for a brief moment.

It gently embraces me as I walk forward

It firmly guides me down the path that I choose,

Whether the weather is scorching or freezing

It is always there.

 

It never judges

It never turns its back on anyone;

We are the only creatures to have a mind in the matter.

Though its course may change

Mine are the paths I may exchange.

Whether I go here or I go there

The wind is sure to, with me, bare.

 

The wind is my only companion,

The lift beneath my wings,

The air that flows through my hair.

High above the ground,

It takes me to places where my mind will be astound.
