Rose

Rose

A Poem by Hope

Hope can change a rose;

From thorns to silk,

Disapproval to acceptance,

even friendship to covenant.

Truth is like a rose;

Tied with black velvet as a pseudo-love,

In a vase with the water named Life,

Or it can confirm the beliefs of a common two.

Truth moves the soul to belief;

Softens the soul to humility,

Opens the eyes of the soul,

Provides a path for each to folllow.

A little white lie can change one forever;

Clouds their vision,

Makes them stumble,

Confuses the heart into disbelief.

Truth is like a rose, it is pure

And love always is behind it.
