Life

Life

A Poem by Hope
"

Going through it alone is so destructive, having Jesus and others to help you along gives you the guidance and accountability you will ever need.

"

I was a hypocrite

Listening to the same music as those who hate you

Hearing the same language that curses you

Speaking the words I counted deadly, yet used it

I was a hypocrite

Saying I lived one way and living another

Living on both sides of the edge instead of one or the other

Giving advice about you and getting angry instead of legitimate

I was a hypocrite

Said things I can never take back

Saw things that took me off track

Did things to make others think it nothing to submit

Thank you Jesus!

I had knowingly disobeyed you

I had knowingly walked away from you

Your life has made me humbly regress

Thank you Jesus!

I was following blindly

I was liking the scent of the enemy

Your word has given me sight, it's you I'll bless!
