Rainy Day

Rainy Day

A Story by Hope

Heavy winds and the silent rain pelted the windshield of her parked car.  Her clothes so damp and worn out and thin, she was soaked all the way through just from walking from the back door to her car. Her light blue jeans and and an emerald green jacket clung to her just as her dark brown hair did to her olive visage. The silver Accura glided down the water filled streets like a boat floating upon the ocean, the heater was turned up on high heat warm her the tiniest bit.  As she pulled up to the gate, she turned the radio on ever so slightly.
