The Sanctity of Life

The Sanctity of Life

A Poem by Hope
"

*Anima=soul in this context (Latin)*

"

Life is too precious to take away

Who is to say to will go or who will live?

Each new child has such innocence

Everyday they remind us just how fragile we really are

Creation is inviolable

Sometimes, we get prideful

   which leads to our pseudo-equanimity

Let us not embrace our faults and act upon what seems right

But let us realize our incompetent, oblivious acts

Then allow the faults to be forgotten

Anima should live
