I wrote this while watching Mel Gibson's 'Passion of the Christ'

The innocence in his eyes

Everytime he looks at you

He talks to you...

 

All the pain in His body,

the agony He was going through

everyone just standing there doing nothing!!

Why did they let it happen to You!!

You do not deserve this.

 

Only evil deserves this torture

Tears are streaming down my face as I watch my son die

He is God, it is His plan

He always taught us to love those who persecute us

He taught with such passion...

 

Such love

peace

assurance...

I cannot bear to watch

 

do not be afraid, mother

this is what needs to happen

this pain is worth all of you

all will know

few will accept

few will be with me

 

He does not deserve this

They pierce his side

They laugh and scoff and torment Him!

What are you going to do!?

Why is this happenning this way, Lord!??

 

do not be afraid, daughter

in the end, in my dwelling...

all will never feel pain

i will conquer death

victory will be mine

this pain is worth your soul, dear one

i love you...

"Eloi, Eloi, llama sabachtani?!"

 

There was silence everywhere you looked on that mount

Everyone then knew...some even believed

 

That was a glorious moment...

Satan was conquered!!

No longer will people be tormented in Hades!

No longer will the victory of evil prevail!

Christ is Lord,

The Lord is God

OUR GOD REIGNS!!!

 

HALLELUJAH FOR EVER AND EVER!!!

Christ, Abba, Holy Spirit will you reign forever more!

 

Victory is ours

 

Isaiah 53:5

"He was pierced for our transgressions

He was crushed for our sins,

the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him.

And by his wounds we are healed."

Isaiah 53:5 says it all...that was why He died, voluntarily...He...loves...us all with all passion that is in Heaven
