25 June 2014A Poem by HopeContemplations, that's all. Wrote this after watching Firefly again.
One last frontier yet unscathed,
take me where my heart will rave. My one, and only, last desire: help me breathe in life's first mire. Can I help these increments seem less daunting and less dense? Before I go and sing his praise, there are some things to help your days. The stars do shine so long and bright, with limitations - as did mine. Naught by their inward burn, borrowed only for their turn. Darkness lurks where light does lack - bring back joy, give people slack. You are given life, you see; though wealth and might authority bring. Intimidation these do bring, but none more like peace and free. Strive for justice, survival, too; Not perfection or you will rue. © 2014 Hope |
