LegacyA Poem by Hope
Maybe another year, sometime, or never --
Perhaps a subject less severe. What if no one come to benefit? I'll live, I die a counterfeit. No. May it be said, and said aloud: No more healing for the proud! Rocky puddle, 'neath this tree, reflects the light through its leaves. Palm trees lined, and lit, and bright overshadow lights of this chill night. Can there be another way? Could it be some other day? Raining moonlight, storms of peace - why not teach them all of these? Sounding silence all about, uncanny music can't be bound. Scathing nonsense, abusive tone - we endure not that, alone. Myst'ries solved leave more untold. secured and fasten'd to a mold. Deep, unfathomable questions lie waiting for the season of its time. Perhaps it never comes to pass. I'll come, I'll leave an endless mass. © 2013 HopeReviews
