Obsession is a stronger form of loveA Poem by Daniel KivlehantruthI’m not obsessed He tells himself Unaware of his mental health Well the h could be part of anything Diamond glances pierce the serenity of her zen He forgets everything He follows his mission to the end Forgetting everything “Stop” “could be said to the air When it’s only us two here” Running panting Stop playing I cant even hear what you are saying (Stop sample in background) You need me I heed you (Please go away) I bleed you Sharp doors fall open in front of his goddess Her commanding presence putting him in complete awe (You are scaring me) “The stars put us together” he whispers to no-one (What?) Dead end Thoughts in his mind " What if she doesn’t want me this time (Okay please I will love you) The beautiful serene dance of love occurs and he grasps at HER Waiting for the astral connections to stir And bring them together in the midst of the Earth “You are dirt” He opens his eyes to a crying b***h. F**k off you w***e, back through the door You are emotionally poor (Running is heard) He falls to his knees and cries Looks up and screams why No answer from the peculiar sky Wonders if he should die Catches his broken breath “I am not obsessed” © 2014 Daniel Kivlehan |
