Haunting symphonies fall

Haunting symphonies fall

A Poem by Daniel Kivlehan
"

Abstract despair

"

Haunting symphonies fall

Already damaged

Whisper it all

I can manage

When this loud crash thunders home

Then you will feel some

This strange disconnect

The one thing I could never Protect

Let me get lost in your bones

I’m nearly done

The silence resurrects

But breezes slowly over your incomparable dome

Protection instigated by a light inside you

Something that will never fight you

The only thing

So resonate with this disconnect

Because baby Its all we have left

Get lost in the abstract chaos

Some would perceive beauty

You were never used to me

I feel lonely

Someone control me

Just hold me

Maybe own me

These blank corridors steal my mind

Its ok I’m fine

Corruption is inside me as my tears bounce off of empty shells

My personal hell

I’m isolated from life

All of it
