Watcher

Watcher

A Poem by Daniel Kivlehan
"

A dark take on what winter truly means.

"

The evanescent crow watched with bleeding eyes

The canopy of its own demise

Proud of its own self affliction

The end.

A fucked addiction

Again.

Repeat and repeat and repeat and repeat and reap-

What you sow

For the snow drenched planes will never snow

Never rock your heart to and fro

Never be the place you want to go

Never tear out your stone eyes

For its vain absent prize

Never tears,

For the white have no fear.
