SnowA Poem by Daniel KivlehanWinter <3Crystalline spectacle rains from the sky He walks shrouded by its comforting embrace He falls into the snow that covers his eyes Another place Another time Snow falling: A winter pastime The scarf he owns flows in the ice breeze A cold that could usually shatter a man to his knees But today it loves Today it warms, No-one has ever needed to warn The boy that reflects in the snow Of a mentality embraced centuries ago The comfort is mutual The importance is crucial Snow Where we all go. A vista that missed her But engaged him All wrapped up in his delicate sin To natures eloquent chagrin He gets lost in the winters striking wrath A beautiful pure dance His last chance Leave His senses say His mind Wants him to go the other way Stay.
