THE QUIET BOY IN CLASSA Poem by Feelings In Motion. There's this boy in class I never seem to understand.
THE QUIET BOY IN CLASS.
My desk mate is the most astonishing person. Although he's quite, You can see something beyond his calm eyes. He's the most peculiar person. His posture never changes, Always sitting upright in a calm mood, But looking very detached from the world around him. His posture never changes, Even when he turns to speak to someone. Funnily, he's never harsh and never speaks in a cold tone. His voice is as comforting as the evening sea breeze and as warm as a camp fire on a cold day. I always feel there's something sad beyond his calm eyes, As though his eyes are shielding his sadness. I really want to know the reason behind this, but he never speaks of it. You would rarely see him smile, Buh when he does, there's a grim image of of rememberance within it. Though everyone is sad once in a while, He always looks deeply grieved. I wish I could know what's behind his calm eyes, so I can help him out. For now, I'll just observe the quiet boy in class. © 2023 Feelings In Motion.Author's Note
