A promise is a promise

I've made a promise which is battling with my emotions because I love you.

A PROMISE IS A PROMISE.

I know I promised not to cry once you're gone.

But the loneliness I'm feeling is too much to comprehend.

I've grown to like u emotionally and physically,

I feel as tho part of me has been torn away.

Although it's only been a few hours since you left,

I can already feel the emptiness eating me up.

A promise is a promise.

So no matter how much it hurt to see you leave,

I will not shed any tears of pain.

I know it hurts you just as much.

To leave me behind.

But knowing I love u will keep going.

And knowing that u love me will keep me going.

Hi guys, this poem is dedicated to my bf who is going to boarding school today.
