Why do your apologies hurt me, when they're supposed to heal?

He'll say he's sorry, yet he'll do worst than he did before. You prefer not to talk, but the more you stay silent, the unbearable it gets.

He'll say he's sorry and you think things are past and gone, but little did you know, that your sleepless nights have just multiplied.

The ground-breaking truth is, he doesn't care. The words "am sorry", are just a way of shutting you up.

He really doesn't care. It's almost as if you're the hinderance in his life. So you tell him you want to leave. And as usual, he'll apologize.

Apologies, why apologize when you just keep hurting me more.
