Some wars can never be won

Some wars can never be won

A Poem by Xander Sinpatrick

Opened eyes
early mornings
out of guilty sickness
regrets are spawn

lying to the point
of believing your own stories
tortured by a lifestlye
one has brought home by their own demons crave

closed circuit
is the anger distilled inside of sin
walls seem to falter but still no fear from the treat has been within
lost is the knowledge
later comes everything
living in a shell of remorse
but danger to change has yet to begin

out of lust comes shame
out of enjoyment burns envy
out of hatred come the thoughts
out of the thoughts come a craving for the end

not of quiet seclussion
but of concluding the tortures nagging
ending the addictions trend and ridding of the
demons inside you bragging

alone now is the time well spent
all have abandoned your deciet
alone now your only true feeling
never asking to accept defeat

Ouh, really like this piece. Thought I hate to say it, I know someone who this perfectly describes. You laid people like this out on the page so well, including the people that have to deal with them. Very relatable subject matter. Thank you for sharing :)
