*Time Ticking*A Poem by SinnerInspiredThis Is About How The People We Love The Most Are Taken In A Split Second When They're Gone The Memories We Had With Them Haunts Our Every ExistenceGuilty Conscience Heart feels nauseous Sweat fills your palms Try to keep calm Your eyes meet Hes suspicious, you feel the shacking of your feet He stands up& starts to walk The music stops Politely he reaches for your hand He wants to dance but you can barely stand The music starts Your so close you can hear his heart During the dance he leads You feel so vulnerable& weak Look up; hes so handsome& tall He smiles; look down, the tears start to fall He hands you a handkerchief or your nose As you cry he holds you close People start to disappear You push him close, before this is over you want him to be near Lifts up your chin He kisses your lips Look at his face one last time Hes gone, you wake up as if everything is fine You close your eyes Pretending to look for a presence of him that you will never find It seems like it was just yesterday That memory will never fade away How you found lying on the ground Made no noise, no breathing, no sound You shook him& begged for him to speak But only blood leaked Just a few hours ago, you were holding hands, walking around the street Now hes in a tomb filled with dirt under 6 feet ~The World Around Us Is Just Time Ticking Away, Regret Nothing When Your Clock Stops~
