Limbo’s Heaven

Alabastrine vinyl of kaleidoscopes hibernating

In pulsating polymerization of heartbreaking bread

Pray to alters malting in the sulphur of vinegar sinew

Incandescent cemeteries of lactescent ebony

Recoiling tongues stretching on for miles across

Like heartstrings plucked

By the puppeteer’s knotted fingers

Like a stiff rope hanging on for dear life

Slippery mouths that cannot scream

On the lips of rope drawn tight as a noose

And tongue twisted like a

Spiralling illusion of free speech

All tongue and cheek

And wildfire teeth-gnashing alabaster

Like a suave psalms’ calling-card swimming in sleep

The swan-song scimitar carving cardiovascular acolytes

Of deep-sea reefs recirculating serpentine armadas

Double-crossing reincarnation of tempestuous effigies

Bioluminescent as the black depression’s tornado halo

Endless, like a hurricane’s metallurgy

The gate of hell opens and unravels

The word of god into syllables

Inviting one to judge the good book by its cover

A monster is the soundscape sprawling

With entangled unravelling tunnels in the night

The remains of a sunny day dying under the clouds

Of grey cobblestone on the cold bed of earth

Hot coals of infinitesimal rainbows

Crowning melancholy stars

In the memories assembled

By the heavens of devils

Elegies melody’s divulging polyphonic

Armada’s of frosty chaos

Dichromatic Nirvana’s collapsing stratospheres

Collateral avalanche, expansion’s lycanthropy

Crawling the crescent moon blooming

Flower of the nightshade horizons

Choirs empires of nigh highrise

The stems of skyscrapers quaking in the wind

Flowering in the sanguine meadowlands

Naked alterations lifting shapeshifters

In terpsichorean herculean Elysium

The pillars of amaryllis holding down

The sky of malachite heights

Spectral electrolytes phantasmagorical

As the morning dew’s oracle

Metamorphosis brewing

In the pots of gothic Apocrypha

Picked from the branches of Yggdrasil

Psychosomatic umbilical amber

Chords of cable tv’s plugged into the silken ventriloquism

Of a terpsichorean guillotine

The cerebellum Valkyries of belladonna

Conquerors monarchies of songbird archangels

Valhalla’s enshrouded balconies

Dipped in bungee-cord dreams

Homunculus drunk on the umbrage

Of sun-kissed abyssal promiscuity

Translucent crucifixion of

Hallucination’s exultated revelation

Rebels of sentinel renaissance

Mockingbird clockwork psychotically hypnotic

The dreadnoughts of Armageddon

Perpetual as the death knell

Of the primordial incorporeal metamorphosis

Born from torrents of aurora borealis

Rigour Mortis cornucopia

The chorus of an empty orphanage

That housed many stories that fell

Like an elevator to hell’s rebellion

Against its maker, breathtaking

In desolations limbo

The rhythm of a thousand widow-makers resuscitating

Nocturnal burgundy, bloodcurdling vertebrae

Eternal purgatories, metempsychosis osmosis

The heavenless World-Ender’s

Of hallucinogenic crevice’s

Behind the walls of fallen exodus

I stand alone on a gallows throne

Interwoven clover fields phantasmagorical Babylonians

Standing behind the mirror

Of vampirical immaterials of imperials’ onomatopoeia

Limbos’ citadel standing upon the corpse of man

Homelessly branded amaranthine amber in his calamity

With the weight of his sadness and vanity,

Sated by only the hate of his sanity

I was reading this while listening to the song "Mona Lisa's & Mad Hatters" . . . it was a sublime whimsical hookup of inputs & really brought your writing alive for me. There were many places where the sheer beauty of some individual phrase made me shrug or shake my head in awe -- not just becuz of the way the words sound but becuz of the meaning, too. This poem was one where I felt you were ramped for both those aspects of how you write -- sound & meaning. (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

This is a million-dollar phrase: "Mockingbird clockwork psychotically hypnotic"

I wish I could get so outside the box that I could think to combine words so unexpectedly & playfully as this: "Nocturnal burgundy, bloodcurdling vertebrae"
