Worldender

A Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)
"

I took one of my rhyming poems and added more story. This one's a gloomy one. Enjoy!

"

Formless purgatory resurrects effigies of the bottomless necklace of necrosis’s orphans utopia I hang from vanquished anger inanimate, broken

Did you think I would stop to watch, as you stumbled through the thunder blind?

Combing frozen over oceans grasping at telepathic vassels in the tapestry’s anatomy an achromatic lab rat scavenging anthrax’s labyrinths avalanching instantaneous chains containing a dangerous trek of shipwrecked adoration, Salem menstruating mayhem

As you went through illuminating the darkness, thinking you'd find solace seeking a light you could not see?

Abundant underworlds; a compass clutching my sundown’s conundrum I sometimes slumber in summer luscious marmalade at the underside of the summit umbrage

As you gathered Havok in that dilapidated hatred, did you take form into someone reborn?

Unversed at the gallows’ salvation devouring the archipelago entrance to an Everest tempestuous a breath of fresh air in the sun’s glare, despair’s arrogant desert a mirage of the deathless, a breakfast in heavens, a marriage of paraplegic minds grindstones relentless adventure calibrating salamanders complementing immortal severance like a visceral Icarus chrysalis of a vendetta’s Armageddon

Could you possibly understand humanity, by abandonment?

I sit serendipitous like ventriloquist in the killer’s mist missionary’s of sickness amidst alliterations ejaculating basilisks of imagination bestiaries of vulgarity compendiums of unending temperance vulnerability invalidated gladiators of maverick omnipresent dance like weaponized shepherds of leopards

Was your hope but a flicker in the wind?

Schizophrenic revenants dabbling avidly at a madness avalanche rancid in the grime of humankind serpentine with divine comprehension on the page, is there anything to mention but the decadent requiem of destiny fading insatiating by wayward deities again?

Did my gale, did the tailwind graze on the scarecrow of your tattered soul, swallowing?

Reality bending hallucinogenic clementine’s crucified from the spinal vinyl of my mind unwinding on the aegis of the stage, the ink savoury aether played with a serrated assailant alienating vandalizing the dark side of my silence, unopening eyelids

Did you finally see there was no remorse, no reason, no hope for you to cling to?

Poems glide ivory violins chimera, Leviathan sirens bridled on my whim, undistinguished civilisations the articulations of graffiti pleading for the evening parchment of my tongue unwelcoming,  dancing on the wind strung by Solomon’s leprechauns, touched by the words insurgency as they kiss my skin, the worms of epidermis, contaminated, avian, infinite, beginning to end, constellations

Did it stab your heart like a million pinpricks in a bleeding sky?

From a bottomless edge, free-falling to frolic through the volumes dead, auburn softness blossoming docile obelisks, full-throttle hollow Molotov’s of novelists

As the heavens cried for mercy, did the devils bellow their curtesy?

That bled promising dominatrix a rosemary canary of monasteries to the bottomless marauders buried red carrousel fabled tales of hurricane's sanctuary underground a mountain malachite to carry bright, phoenix Elysium breathing teaspoons of crimson kryptonite, deciphering the vipers into the enlightenment

Did they sing the songs I used to whisper insidiously into your infancy?

Candied archenemies feathers of legendary memories glide generations left behind to climb the moon scythe of midnight's diaphragm, screaming cleavers of grim reaper homo sapiens

Can you still hear me screaming my fealty you demonized in sunlight?

I am Aphrodite's spider, a poltergeist of sapphire wyverns diving maniacal into the spires of Poseidon, wildlife's Leviathan a rising geyser bonfire of wraithlike iron chastised igniting lightning’s indictment smiting Vikings on the Valkyrie breeze of a malachite paraplegic seven seas' zion

My truth was all that you wanted and more, but you didn't want me

Divine sayonara bargaining gardens with the graphite visage of crimson religion ripped from the skijor of my fingers

Writing the bloodletting in cursive lettering, malevolent unending

The piano spirit animal of dynamo notes of primrose vipers among psychedelic cypresses rewriting of the third eyed horizons that cry goliaths of Pied Piper enlightenment on the beguiled isles of Dragonriders hieroglyphs insidious griffins of visionaries behind the barriers of simultaneous werewolf cornucopias catapulting my solace from purgatories virtuoso

You wrote me so many times that I ran thin, drowning wallowing stagnant

I push on past the hourglass and hatch mavericks from the flickering fingertips of rains vibrations painting maelstroms in the prelude to the futures institutionalism

In all the words you burdened me

The music written in the superstition's obituaries of my words regurgitated patriarchs of creations misinterpretations of the guillotine reapers conceived by the doubtless mouth’s echoed secretions devouring death’s thrall’s deemed dreamless, the world’s silver veined hurricane meaningless

I was more than you thought I could be, did you think you could win?

I abbreviate the deviant inside the xylophone defiling chimera heritage of wordsmith carrion, barely solitary enough to resuscitate the desolation that veils the halo of god's failure reincarnated through the debilitation of hatred's weight heartbreaking shapeless gospel of a doppelganger's anguish insanity a defibrillator intimidating

You set this devil free, your end is coming, but I'm about to begin

Virgin currency emerging from the curtains of your story, born from your allegory

I come from the slumber of worms in your flesh injustified by life

I rise through the climaxed bypass of your outlasted accidents

Repentance demonstrated, did you think you could win?

You didn't want me, but I was more than you thought I could be

Here I am, a demonstration

Hate or love letter, saint or Worldender

I took inspiration from Unsainted by Slipknot on a whim at the last second. If you'd rather avoid that kind of inspiration for whatever reason, or want to read something shorter, check out Dark Journey. It was what this poem was 30 minutes before I decided to share it.

I very seldom reply to reviews, but I promise I read EVERY single one. I look forward to my next review, because it helps me learn. Even if it's just one word, I promise, I will be ecstatic to have the chance to hear what you have to say. Whenever you write something about my poems, or the themes of my poems, or criticize me it is not in vain. I will listen, learn and be thankful.

I find this interesting but a little confusing because of some typical words. I loved this one so much for I can relate to it and then the images created though your words make it a wonderful design to enjoy gliding down these words. And I like the choice of images too. I know that you worry about people not enjoying long poems but it's not that at least in my case, I love to read these long ones. So I can say that there are more people like me on here.😊 There's no doubt that this is a great poem.
