A Pastor's Blasphemy

A Pastor's Blasphemy

A Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)

Another poem I am definitely proud with. Enjoy!

Resentment of empathy philanthropy tampering catastrophe

Floral Grove, frolicking bones stick through the dirt of rebirth, coming from the tomb blooming beautiful

Suiciding into ivory towers of spite, rewriting my history, of hand fisted misery

Blindsiding writing of life-cycling Eifel towers mouthfuls of stone-cold soul golems

Psycho icicles split the rigid disfiguration of my lost face

Doppelgänger slathered Abaddon swallows my sadness

Clone tornado of opal dopamine a gem of heaven in the hell of malevolence developing empty like a devil’s heart restarted by the thunder of the underworld

Replicas deception lexicon confection bless my messages pressured zeppelins of Bethlehem trifecta of Nephilim

Analysts hourglass anarchy patriarch archways of departing arks aardvark knives in the side of silenced Christ

Humanoid joy is devoid of its morose polaroid vantage point, sandwiched between grieving loss of existence, and never  existing

In this hurricane rage contagious in the cyborg sorcery of a fortune-teller’s rebellion

Macedonian unicorn, spawn triceratops offspring strangling maniac krakens that maw the Cthulhu all-consuming

Columbian thunder pummeling the stomach summit of manifested Nephilim, destined for heavenless anchors in the hearts of dark men who cannot pretend to be any more lost in the bottomless solitude than frost in the depths of hades serrated blazings

Flabbergasted radionuclide raspberry rasping rationalist masturbation like a sad cyanide lullaby

Affiliated crucifixion listening insidious symbols of drivel syllables lifting in the fog of promises of promiscuous liberty drifting like a shapeshifter

Ragnarok raven, blazing radiant salvation in the sunlight like vital signs climatized in springtime grapevine of wildfire wildebeest odysseys blossoming harvests like an agricultural goddess

Heroine marijuana marathons through fauna synonymous with holographic afterimage prisms of light that fight like a hawk of apocalypse in flight

Legislative deprivation brazen to cradle Mother Nature left a crater on our oasis eviscerating the vagrant who made us

I live in a coffin of a waking nightmare, restless sleep, world of fears, no one can weep, just how deep can we go before we wendigos go to destroy the soil of our virgin home

In chasms slumbers madness, deathless bleed, island of souls, breathing seething reefs remorseless, drowned deep, where no one can keep, dream-eating contortionist

Aghast, the gashes swallow the masses, the gaseous ashes castrate passion, collapse hypnotic elliptic, half-dead calypso, sickness exhales and swallows whole echoes maniacal, hell’s cello bellows jackals melancholy melodies mellowed elbows, the dust settles ebony, rusted petals of a flower fabricated in the hatred, segregation medicates the faithless

Silence sings, a violin, islands of vibrant sin, a quiet hymn, the devil’s grin

Concerto Los Muertos, arrows of black marrow, bone abominable snowman, sewn shut from the guts now frozen, foaming erupting hopeless roping poems copious through opening orifices a third eye like a wild scythe a gale of unified rhymes

As time will fall to our chaos through law, omniscient through our vile vision blind

Like a pastor’s blasphemy, undesired, defiled, ripe

I very seldom reply to reviews, but I promise I read EVERY single one. I look forward to my next review, because it helps me learn. Even if it's just one word, I promise, I will be ecstatic to have the chance to hear what you have to say. Whenever you write something about my poems, or the themes of my poems, or criticize me it is not in vain. I will listen, learn and be thankful.

More Bob Dylan-ing, I see. Ragnarok raven particularly stood out to me, that's got to be a reference to Norse mythology, right? Also, yes! Krakens and Cthulhu, some of my favorite monsters, made it in this one! :) I love seeing the associations you make, sometimes they're based on sound, sometimes I don't even know where your mind is going, I'm just buckled in for a wild ride. Thanks for sharing!
