Grey Maze

Grey Maze

A Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)
"

Grey waters tell a tale that only the drowned can tell.

"

The grey maze of the sky pooled over the countryside

Feverish seizures gripped my bodies modest lesions

Guzzling the mother-load of brotherhood

Grizzled  grisly physics whisper scissored snippets of witnessed relentless emptiness, contaminating salvation crustacean motivated ocean boats

Clownfish whistle in the depths of the fitful

Elaborated contaminated regurgitation a wasteland on the sea

A factory velociraptor capturing captivated mother nature

Masquerading cascading evocative basket-case

Penance conceptive vengeance, desert sceptre, skeptical scalpel skins the scales of the fragile animal like an owl's mandibles

Gigantism stigmatism, talons and alligators growing in the pollution, the water protruding plastic beauty

Incapable of sapience, stationary operating ocean air

Capsized ships eclipse obituaries variables under the cold watered home

Felonies melody a siren with a violin

Melancholy colonoscopy, curiosity, awesome audacity, quivering passivity, aggressive progression

I see in the waves that be bleed new life in the vice grips and islands a knife jutting rugged from the waters' depths

Reverberating regurgitated vertebras sway with the sea

Relinquishing resistance to the powers that be

Pivoting pistons equipped to dip past the elastic bands and plastic wastelands to hold hands with watermen

Resilience fulfillment is distilling in the limbo

Murky crows recorded the corrosion imploding in the ocean

Hurricane’s made of marmalade, high octane resuscitation, replicating creation

Author's Note

R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)
I very seldom reply to reviews, but I promise I read EVERY single one. I look forward to my next review, because it helps me learn. Even if it's just one word, I promise, I will be ecstatic to have the chance to hear what you have to say. Whenever you write something about my poems, or the themes of my poems, or criticize me it is not in vain. I will listen, learn and be thankful.

This one feels like going through a maze. As per usual, I love what you do with rhymes and sounds - although, if you don't mind me being a bit of a grammar Nazi, your last stanza has an apostrophe where there shouldn't be. Other than that, this had great imagery, although I don't know what it all meant.
