![]() Neither Here Nor ThereA Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)![]() In the style of Unborn in the Storm of Emotion.![]() Voluptuous homunculus Reluctant to punishment Hatred stiffens your peripheral vision Look me in the eyes and tell me I’m wrong For my eyes’ burn abyssal like coal in a black hole of the underworld And I see through glass sharded sarcophagus bullshit And I will not be buried again Interstellar hell-ground dispersed in the rehearsal of Anthrax bacteria aftermath synapses Lullaby high wire vitamins, Autumn water on the ottomans Metropolitan Neanderthal skulls revolve monologuing Polaroid coils on the focal point smorgasbord rainbow boulevard burial poet heart bonded with an earth of words in the darkness ink that dab at the page and braid the ground in ponytail veins that veil the vengeance of men and transcend into imagination immense immortal essence to avatar the bard into star shattered night that bites and chews on the noose like a bookmarked bruise Reminiscent missionary Reenacting arachnids The green fields are unyielding I grow my own feelings Propaganda slandered humanity I balance at the tip of a mountain I do not hesitate when I carry this weight I manage my catastrophes and metamorphosize my mesmerized horizons Lest I fall into the belly of hell, and get swallowed in the esophagus of tortuous morbid lusting war, in a state of poor angelless birds that slur words of suffering, and prose decorated in the gore glorified in the gorgeous rise of a one-eyed sun, satan’s third, see the pulsating hate of his nerves arteries varicose cartilage and looks down on the ones who fell for him, and does not care, and he does not cry with his emotionless eyes And I don’t expect him to So I sit on my mountaintop lest I drop into the sarcophagus of hell Like a triceratops falling from Jurassic masochism at what must have been the end of the universe and Balance my body, mind, and soul, and call forth every orifice of all that I know I will not be tossed to and fro by the winds of fortune, orphaned to the moment my life’s over On the edge of heaven, earth, and hell Because if I fall, no one will cry for me © 2019 R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)Author's Note
