Falling Further

Falling Further

A Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)
"

The longer version of Fall Further. This is a glimpse of my suffering, but also a warning to not become something like this. Enjoy!

"

I smile in denial as the bile drips down my face

Memories exist inside my eyes that cannot be erased

I can laugh at death and bleed my last traces in hell’s oasis, breath my final breath faded until the sun dries my suicide

I eat the suffering from my soul with a warm bowl of a maelstrom tasting hatred I’ve known

Invincible, throbbing bright at midnight

Damage me, ravage me, feel my savage being biting on your sanity, severing humanity, manifesting your mass manufactured last tragedy

A molesting pestilence everlasting, fasting on the souls of mortals, masking the rotting flesh in my insides open jaws of bones wide will colonize and swallow you hollowly along with your apologies

Eating through your fortitude, slowly ruining you, pierce you your words through with the slaughterer’s truth

Understand the demand to butchered, and put in a slow cooker, people are crooked martyrs, wicked wicker men heartless, waiting for liquid flames to spark within them, ready to set your life to flames and begin to be full of worms for eternity for their murdering sins without forgiveness

Feel the sickness burning like a bonfire of disease, contagious flaming desire released, feel it saw through you piece by piece with its eye blinder than silence, feel them divide you, cut you into bite-sized pieces of grief and weakness, keep you hushed quiet within the dimly lit riot, secret

Speak your words rotting in the dirt and stay heard over the screams of torment codling the frail things wailing, and the cries of lust that rain on me like heavenly sun beams, rust under the hate of tomorrow, feed your soul with borrowed shackled like a maniac in a straightjacket captured under the cuffs of sorrow, without closure

Let the anger fill your marrow like the remains of a pharaoh buried in the cold sands of your soul unborn tomorrow sprawled around like soundless children on the playgrounds like a burial mound, never to feel found, broken in with loneliness

Hear the profound sound of torture, feel the hopelessness, live for the moment, die for a second, a B for your effort, I reckon you’ll never learn your lesson, reach up for heaven, try to touch the moon, realize you are but a man with a short bloody lifespan and sink down through the blood red bruised resin sand, another abused piece for my collection, my madness, my profession, my band

Every effort neglected, taste the disrespect and, spit it back at the pack of animalistic rats to feed on your lies, living through your sides, watch them come out and rise from your body left behind, mining at the bones in your spine, the meat, the mind

Hide under the lives, or the thumbs of others, betray your dismayed brothers, crumble under the rumble of the devil’s thunder, sunder as you blunder rendered and dissected from your clever hatred, slowly now, the demons are patient, on the prowl

Slumber like the ancients, under the sombre sunburns of the Earth Mother’s bowels while you howl like a coward, take a cold shower in our malice, add to the number of the powerless dismembered unremembered, pretend to be better, let your bones clutter your cell, break under the weight of a feather, fall further than hell, suffering forever

Present your weathered self, incandescent in prevalence of the heavenless, remember it, the world you held in your palms, think back to your present and grasp at your past, tasked with masking your insanity, your wrong, gesture at your humanity, sing the same songs

But memories exist inside your eyes that cannot be erased

You can laugh at the death of the human race and bleed your last traces in hell’s oasis, your final breath faded until the sun dries on your homicide, undoing your creation

So eat the suffering and death from your soul with a warm bowl of a maelstrom tasting the hatred you’ve known

Be reborn from the feeling, blood that drips from the ceiling, you will never heal again, nothing real here will cure you, the surgery for murdering is overdue, conceal the truth, for every falsehood you knew

So smile in denial as the bile drips past your lips onto the tile floor wasted

And grace me with your hatred

I see it painted on your face and as you fall further, in your hatred, eating your just desserts from your plate until your sated

I will wait for your fate to be revealed, as I peel back the flesh that flourishing within you, have the courage to give up on your dreams of humility and become a demon, losing all your reason, and everything, everyone you believe in

Because it’s not too late to lose your freedom

I very seldom reply to reviews, but I promise I read EVERY single one. I look forward to my next review because it helps me learn. Even if it's just one word, I promise, I will be ecstatic to have the chance to hear what you have to say. Whenever you write something about my poems, or the themes of my poems, or criticize me it is not in vain. I will listen, learn and be thankful.

Man I love your poetry, but as I've said before the formatting is a bit daunting. Breaking it up into paragraphs and stanzas will help attract more readers, a little formatting goes a long way to also highlight your rhyme schemes.
