UnacceptedA Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)Fighting for a scrap of respect is hard when your unwanted.Hungry for the flesh, guilty to the touch, head rushing with the blood gushing through the gears inspiring fear in the ones who hold the gun laughing because it’s fun Your running from nothing no fight no bluffing just my smile leaving me wild as my haters swallow the bile that piles in the back of their mouth, heart beating faster than healthy Getting a little bit mouthy, soon your going to be shouting “somebody help me!” There can only be one monster soon you’ll be offered the same treatment that fathered the carnage, the bondage that spawned us in the hospital Harvest the hostages in this impossible roster fostered with the festering lost birds Try to fly away but you ain’t having that today insanities the meal on your plate eat your portion just accept your fate It’s my trait to feed, treat, and create the places around me until they’re standing soundly all crowdy fondly wrongly accused of deeds I didn’t do now amused with the abuse that made me the person right in front of you Got a few screws loose spruce up the next noose to reuse the fuse of a truce between a world that didn’t accept me simply corrected me and collected my life giving me a nightmare A right war that burned the soul from my core left me sore and took my form all done with so much hate procreating that made me strange and gave me a different fate and a hated name Now I’m waiting to start ice skating on a frozen lake of tears and climbing inside a web of lies and fears the leering belligerent vigilant killers so proud that every sound that comes from me better be existing for a reason I have to be screaming forget about dreaming Like living is treason just because I’m not decent enough to be flexible around all your bull and the lives you pulled from the ground like weeds free of everything but the carbon copies I cannot be because you see me as an enemy So I have no choice but for you to remember me as someone who stood with his tail between his legs, or the one no one could ever break despite the efforts they make © 2018 R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)Author's Note
