SinA Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)A poem about not giving up, no matter whatMy mind is mangled Life’s in shambles Body’s shadowed Slaughtered emotions, cattle Rattle my bones Throw stones at me, and show me my destiny Infinitely hated, infinitely in pain, infinitely unfit, baited, chained, enslaved and insane Inhumane as I watch from the eyes in my crippled brain Blood rivers rippled as I dibble vomit, choking, unable to swallow reality Just another stain, a strain of a virus, removed by an empress, a fallacy, hollow, without love Looking above me at the foot that crushed my skull, waiting for him to end it all Appalled by this world, crying like a little girl, every tear like a pearl to the torturer in the room They’ll need more than a broom to clean this place, but a fitting tomb Looming over me is the reality that life can end so quick So pick your pieces and hold on to them in the palm of your hand, they will trickle out like sand I demand to have my life back, someday I might crack, I have a knack for that crap Even the future looks black from my point of view, I can still see it, and someday I will be it so I might as well accept it Even if I left it for dead, there would be no purpose to the suffering I read in their eyes, everyone dies But I will speak truth when there are lies and say my goodbyes when I’m ready My hands are steady, because I have nothing to lose I choose to be better, for them I refuse anything else, craft it yourself, use me, and see the world you want to be in Turning your back on it is a sin, if you quit you’ll never win, shall we begin? © 2017 R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)Author's Note
