I'll Never See You AgainA Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)Just a poem about an old friend. I didn't put much effort into this, but I hope you like it.I’m dreaming of a day Where it won’t have to rain A day where you stayed And I don’t have to feel this pain You’re the stain that coloured my existence The friend that made life meaningful The buffer zone, between me and the world, the resistance I promised to pay you back in full I guess that was bull Because after the time was over and the day was done And I saw the morning sun You had already run from our prison without me Leaving me alone Resolve as cold as stone crumbled without seeing your face, your friendship Never thought you’d be the one to end this and leave me there in disgrace I don’t even know if our bond was real, and I don’t know what to feel You left me in a cold hospital for another 8 months You never visited It was a cold punch Did you really hate me that much? Leaving me to finish this? You knew I needed you, and I was there for you, you know it’s true But you were too cool to do me any respect for the help I gave you Gone without a care, I thought you’d always be there I’ve been alone for 5 years since you left and I’ve done my best I didn’t need your help anyway I guess we can’t continue to be friends And I’ll never see you again © 2017 R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)Author's Note
