These HandsA Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)I will mold a beautiful experience out of the clay we call life. These hands of mine have guided me through sorrow These hands have felt blindly through all the life I’ve
borrowed These hands have stolen happiness These hands carried others through the nastiness These hands write poems These hands helped me climb over bad omens These hands help me to see These hands mold me into the best man I can be These hands lift up my spirits and smash my regrets These hands cradle my morals push away any threats These hands have stayed strong over the years, and even
grown tougher These hands are gentle enough to pick others up and help
them reach even higher These hands hold onto everything that’s dear, and don’t let
a single thing drop These hands shatter my fears and carry my heavy thoughts
like small rocks These hands shake those of others Sharing pain, love, sorrow, and strength between sisters and
brothers These hands are meant to hold and cherish These hands won’t let a single person perish My eyes control my vision My ears control my ability to listen My heart controls my actions My mind controls my logic But These hands do not control me I control these hands © 2017 R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)Author's Note
