It's Already OverA Poem by R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)What is there to experience when you feel like you've seen it all?I feel sad It’s a fleeting feeling though, not so bad I’m glad with what I have, I really am But I still feel empty inside Like a glass half full Happiness, that time, mental illness, and reality stole Leaving a hole in my heart A missing cog preventing the gears in my mind from turning My soul burning cold and even though I’m only twenty I feel old Old enough to feel like I’ve had my run and it’s over There's nothing left to earn that feels worth it Any profit I made can't be spent on anything worth getting I made it to the top of the hill Seems like it’s all downhill from here onwards There’s no fear, just the feeling of no longer being content With the life and adventures, I’m been sent It seems like I’ve already experienced enough and there’s nothing left to give There’s not much left for me to live What could possibly be new? Anything that could get me out of this groove I’m sick of this world The same thing No thrill Nothing left to do but so much time to kill I’ve done it all It feels like it’s already over © 2017 R.J Calzonetti (SinisterPotatoe)Author's Note
