I Love You

I Love You

A Poem by sinNsincerity

Is a mouthful of cavities that has annihilated

the lust out of our Sweetart hearts.

Is a beat skipped from the scratch

in the groove. Is an unspoken kiss

that could lead to a house

full of kids. Is the split of a chocolate

Twix. Is your marshmallow moans.

Is a caterpillar finally finding a way to fly away

because of longing to taste the freshness

of leaves before they fall. Is dandelions

vomiting sunsets. Is a fountain full

of quarters. Is all the times I played

while the screen read GAME OVER.

Is waking up with a dried tongue and a leg

cramp at three in the morning with no

glass of water to reach for. Is Owen Hart

up in the rafters ready to jump

50 ft. trusting the harness.

Is geronimo

Swoosh,

             zip,

                   splat.

Showing your age. Owen Hart death. A surprise death. Your words were not sweet, but honest. I did enjoy the poetry. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

This is a lot of fun, well written, reminds me of the Liverpool poets, loads of charm, fine job.

Is that your version of the consequences of unprotected sex? If so, it's not bad at all!
