Hoarse Pillow Talk

Hoarse Pillow Talk

A Poem by sinNsincerity

Let me know what your biggest fear is.
Let me hear what's in your spirit.
Is it insincere?
Then you dont have to let me know
what your biggest fear is.
We can chill.
Have a beer.
Listen here.
Gimmie there...
Your hand
and press it here.
Against my chest.
Do you hear?
My dear.
You used to be the biggest fear
that haunted my spirit.
And now you're here
laying beside me.
And I fear,
that it has been more than
several years since
I last had you here
lying beside me.
A beat not skipped, there's no talkin'.
Just straight to the unspoken kiss,
the soaken twitch,
the split of a chocolate twix.
Just holding onto the moment
like holding onto your thick waist
that'll only be my death.
Dont speak to me.
Just keep playing,
and playing,
and playing me.
We made the house itch.
So enticing, hot and spicy.
You got my mind movin',
rather yet, hips are groovin'.
Not too quick love, they way
you bounce makes the house itch.
But I said that already and it's
too hot to get down.
I'm too hot to get down.
Now you have to get down
before we both get ill and
slip into the groove love.
Oh lord, I just want to slip right
into your noose.
Slip into your snooze.
A bed full of wolves.
But I'm back for seconds.
And reminiscing over these past seconds,
has me panting and grasping
for your everlasting blessings and embers.
I give up.
I surrender.
This is me lonely in late December.

This is both beautiful and hauntingly somber. I think we all become reminiscent of the past in late December because we're remembering everything the past year has done to us, given us, taken away from us. Missing someone you love while keeping them beside you in the only way they'll be with you is a sad but very real thing that I can relate to.
Well done.

Reminds me a bit of that classic song by the Coasters, called "Poison Ivy." (Have a listen to it sometime!)

This is so raw and...earnest. A feeling everyone knows too well, to wish for something wonderful that once was, and then find yourself alone. Very moving

Great work here--I can tell this is a deeply inspired and emotional piece. I love the title, I love the use of words and their sounds throughout, and the last six lines, already fabulously emotional, are elevated even higher by your really clever rhyming. Thank you for sharing!

sounds very intense. The relationship they both have. A toxic one, no doubt, but is any addiction ever non toxic? This was a good read. Good work!
