Whip, Beat, and Mix

Whip, Beat, and Mix

A Poem by sinNsincerity

The night Owl.

Out N about.

Out on the prowl.

I clown N play in the wind.

Had a cow N then I

took a swim and a gaze into a

backwards black top hat,

and now,

I'm Mr. Black Cat.

Talk to me girl

Talk me out of this whirl

Talk me out of this world

Do you believe in us?

I believe in meow.

Please my dear,

do you hear my cries?

If not,

believe in my fuss.

What the f**k?

Do you give more than one?

You don’t believe in the Sun,

So you called me out of my rust.

Talk to me girl

Talk me out of this whirl

Talk me out of this world

Belief is a must.

Do you hear my Moo?

I couldn’t get enough of You,

so I danced and waned into

the last night of your Doom.

Your crescent moon smile

had just all of the right grooves

that whisked me back into the

lite light.

Talk to me girl

Talk me out of this whirl

Talk me out of this world.

I'm air again.

I play in the wind.

I can't wait for you

to summon me again.

i like the Alice in Wonderland hints .. the Cheshire Cat so memorable in all of the adventures there ...out of all your lines this one strikes me hardest:
"I'm air again." in all the want, needing and pleading ...that line flew me away like fresh breaths ;)

And you will find and master that as you continue to write and study it.
The whimsical tone of this poem made it a very enjoyable read.

...Phew...
Sometimes bring away with the fairies is the best place to be where we can be one with the dance of our emotions- we wait for the next round- as if we need to reassure ourselves that we’ve been found and not rejected but need to come to terms at times that some things are best left alone- 🌹

Oh wow! I loved this! Your rhythm and flow were spot on, and I loved your use of the implied allusion of the Cheshire cat, so many great connotations!
