I feel a sadness for unrequited love but similarly a happiness for one to experience such a deep connection. This is why I'm not afraid to leave myself so open because I'm ready to grow so much. I have always felt greatness inside of me, but I have always shunned it away as if I wasn't worthy enough. But truly, we are all worthy and have greatness inside of us.
For the one I wrote this for, Vanessa, we were tremendous best friends and we both nurtured it. It came to a point we realized, "hey, we take care of each other so well, why not go out on a date and give this a shot..." Some how we remained friends and as time went on we lost touch and got lost in the world, which lead me to ponder on what could of been...
Thank you so much Nadia! Your input always gets me thinking and going. I love when you speak you mind to me because it allows us to get more into dept and discuss more of what is written.

Hi Sin. A moment of reflection?? Could feel the sadness in your words!!! A girl never forgets, and this is probably a moment she will treasure just as you do. Love this, Sin!!!

It really didn't matter to us which movie we watched; although, it was quite funny and touching... It was just amazing for us two to finally go out on a date because before that night we were always occupied by other relationships and the timing was never right. After that night we decided to just remain best friends and nothing more...
I liked it, it sweet and if it's true soooooo sorry, that's the game of love. I like the title too and maybe it's silly, but with the title I thought, you may say, something like until I find another that's where it will stay. Thanks, it's so very sweet - Dale

I love how the longing and yearning in this piece just seeps though the words and soaks the reading with emotions. I have always been in the habit of falling for my best guy friends ( which ultimately worked out) but there was a lot of damage left in the wake of a couple of late night truths and friendships ended. This poem brought me back to that bittersweet moments of truth and all that happened after.
GREAT JOB
