This poem actually scared me, and I don't scare so easily in poetry, but you write so well! I like how you personify time in sleep, and compare it to a thief, the sly grin of someone who seems pleased, but is waiting to turn into a beast. Your last line is full of power evoking feelings of fear and tread and worry, that brings the whole story to life and makes it real. Really well done!

hahahaha!!! So very far from your usual introspective writes, and a very enjoyable read!!! Would love to know where your muse came from for this one!!! Just so loved the lightness and the way you revived old memories!!! alf

I wrote this one on the bus. Most of my works are produced when I'm on the bus to school and back home. I don't have a muse that inspires me to write. I have so many things in my head that want to get out. I write about one percent of them down. The rest I simply let go because at times the desire isn't there...

The beautiful this is that I don't exist in time when I'm in the writing process. It's hard to explain...
I love that this can be interpreted in so many ways, depending on the childhood experiences of the reader. I also enjoyed the element of fantasy intertwined in your expression of emotion.

I read something sinister in this. Like your in too deep and know its gonna end bad, but your too late to turn back. ADORE the theme and relating it to such a great fairy tale story really made the piece relateable. Great Job

I wrote this to symbolize how much I take from the world and what could become of me if I don't reach into the world and start giving back.
Lol this made me smile and of course took me back to the childhood days and that nursery rhyme , but as i read it a few time (yeh i do that too lol) i was thinking little goldilocks she just took, so whose porridge did you take and who do you need to pay back?

This was something very cute. Did bring me flashbacks of little me reading the tale all engrossed and feeling irate for the baby bear whose porridge was eaten, chair was broken and bed was slept in. Huh, Goldilocks deserves to be eaten. Or ok, atleast be taught her lessons. I'm surprised realizing there's actually more to the story than I ever thought. Quite an unexpectedly thought-provoking profound poem, Sin. Cryptic!
