Theatrical Scene ~ Infinity

Theatrical Scene ~ Infinity

A Poem by sinNsincerity

Future, present, and past…

The days will everlast.

Relapse?

More like a nightcap

Mr. bottle caps

Number 7, Jack.

The confines of my mind...

More like outside the lines,

More like undefined,

More like it’s…,

I’m fine.

Welcome to my high!

Love blows me away

I’m afraid

Please say it’s okay…

Does she still love me?

Can she still find me?

My chest is glowing!

I’m holding,

A snowing for she.

Come melt me!

Your third stanza is a masterpiece to read! This poem is golden, it has the melancholy feel, satirical flair, the sad yet hopeful, a passionate end and circular read that ties in with your concept of infinity. I could read this over and over again, the word selection and sentence structure is eloquent and well decided upon. You have a masterful talent. Please never stop writing, and thank you for sharing such artistic beauty!

Nicely done, and without putting a lot of uneccesary frills on it. I think this piece is relatable, I think that everyone has felt this way at some point in time.

The chaotic elements one undergoes in their own mind are very well represented in this piece. "I’m afraid" Everyone in their own way or another is afraid, whether it be emotions or physical moments in time. Vulnerability can take a great toll on our lives, we are afraid of letting go, we are afraid of lose, we are afraid of the intangible, we are afraid of fear. We obtain different potions to sustain our thoughts and mind just like these phrases describe "More like a nightcap/Mr. bottle caps/Number 7, Jack./ The confines of my mind..."
This poem is very powerful if one takes the time to read and understand the meaning between the lines.
Great job!

Thank you for reading Stephen. Always appreciated!
This write is a glimpse into all those thoughts that are running though your mind (at least thats my take on it) Little stanzas representing each one as you capture it!!
Infinity ...if we are infinite then does that make everything all one time? no ending no beginning ?
Your minds is for sure undefined and keeps pushing outside the box...
Love and all it does to you... "come melt me " such a beautiful last line that makes a strong impact. The way i read it , it made me want to add ...'If you dare" lol
Sorry i rambled on Bestie...just love this! :)

You are too funny Lynn! =D
Thank you.
Interesting indeed, it did have this thing that made it sound like a ramble as if the poet were actually high, you know like how you've made the theme shift from one thing to the other, maybe it was even to show how so much goes in the brain since the confines of the mind is undefined, infinity. And when you end up like snowing snow ready to melt, that was a great imagery to conclude. Nice!
