Deleted Scenes

Deleted Scenes

A Poem by sinNsincerity

In every 'while of uncertainty,

I've walked outside of my mind like a dead man’s soul

Does to his expressionless body.

This is my new found hobby.

I’m no longer left sobbing;

I'm just a wanderer in a forbidden lobby.

In so few words you managed to explain that state of "numbness" a lot of people can't describe - and I myself can I identify with this poem frequently.

I also loved how you called this "Deleted Scenes"; the scenes that happened, but aren't seen by the public eye, just as this 'state' in the poem, normally goes unnoticed/unseen by those around us.

"I'm just a wanderer in a forbidden lobby." That last line is a killer.

Fantastic job. Round of applause for you!

+1 on this comment. It's actually seems too specific to miss. ^^ Nicely done Sin!
Hey Sin, you hit the sweet spot on this write, I like the way you describe the wondering about into a deleted scene as is. Great piece, thanks for sharing! :-)

Thank you man!
I can relate to your words - there are times when life gets so stressful, it is a relief to "walk outside my mind" as you have eloquently stated. You are quite clever and creative. Great writing!

Sin, I like how you have descibed that feeling of being disconnected from the world or perhaps someone new in yours. Disconnecting is a wonderful protective instinct, as long as we do not allow it to blind us from gifts set in front of us. Jan

The picture this paints is sad and lonely. Its graceful and pointed. I also liked the counting on it 3 lines, leads to 2 leads to 1. I felt that that a count down to being alone and numb.
Very meaningful.

Ah, you've almost made this one creepy. Uncertainty can be really upsetting, sometimes leading to despair. I could queerly relate because I find making decisions exhausting and mostly end up just the way you sketched, eternally wandering. Hope to meet you in the lobby, lol. It's quite a deliciously imaginative piece you've got here, loved it. :)
