A Poem by sinNsincerity

My body has scars,

But my skin is soft.

I take care of mine

Without my mind

Because it’s lost.

I follow my soul,

Have a heart of an angel,

No hate for the devil…

Only hope!

I’m so sure of what not to do,

But not so sure of what to…

No false promises.

Just forgiveness.

People surrounding me are expecting greatness,

But honestly they don’t understand me,

So I supply them with a brutal silence.

So use to running away,

But so sick and tired of being this way…

Quite profound, this poems expresses a couple of something that's rarely seen in words yet floats in the mind often. It felt real. A nice variety of thoughts indeed.

I'm glad it felt real to you because it's real to me.
Thank you so much for reading Rana.
This is deep SweetSin...you can feel the frustration ...not sure what to do , being pulled in all directions and how easy it would be to just runaway from it all! But to make change happen you have to stay and fight my friend!!
Brilliant, powerful write!
