Hey You!

Hey You!

A Poem by sinNsincerity

And it breaks my heart…

Why?

Each time

A piece of me dies

When I give

You all a piece of me

Within this

Poe-try.

Go ahead my loves,

Try!

Please don’t cry!

Our love was at its

Prime

And never had to play

The part when it had to

Comply with daily life.

If you’re reading,

Would you come back for

A second slice?

Or would you prefer

An other kind?

Would you place the taste in

The back of your mind,

Or will you cherish every

Bite and say,

“It’s all mine!?”

The delicate fingertip that just

Waltzed up your spine is

The cool breeze I sneezed down

From the moonlit sky.

Muah!

Say goodnight…

Even with me liking it I am left with an inability to express my thoughts on what I have read. Giving of yourself and hoping to be remembered by your love as you give freely of yourself. The imagery was very nice. The gentle touch of a lovers fingers can mean so much. iAnd the final question in all love is, is it mutual. Thank you for sharing.

I really like this piece! Sad, insecure with some whimsy thrown in and a great "Mwah" to end it! Nice.

"Bite and say 'It's all mine!?'"..The question mark confuses me a little. Other than that, this is an amazing write!

Thank you so much for thinking so Angela.
I highly appreciate it!
Nowadays it's hard for people to stay committed to each other. They think they can replace one person with another far better. All these choices we are given, we suffer and make others suffer because of it. I feel your sorrow and I am with you on this one.
